Terms of Service

By accessing or using ManasikLoc — including the mobile application, web dashboard, or API — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

These Terms apply to all users: Agency Admins, Agency Staff, Pilgrims, Family Viewers, and Emergency Support personnel.

ManasikLoc provides real-time GPS location tracking, group management, and safety alerting tools designed for Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage group leaders and travel agencies ("Service").

The Service includes:

• A mobile app (iOS and Android) for pilgrims to share their location.
• A web dashboard for agency admins and group leaders to monitor pilgrim safety.
• Real-time push notifications and safety alerts.
• QR-code-based group onboarding for pilgrims.
• Shared-link viewer access for family members.

ManasikLoc is not a medical device, emergency rescue service, or travel insurance product. It is a communication and coordination tool intended to supplement, not replace, proper safety protocols.

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately at support@manasikloc.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account credentials.

You may also register using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. Your use of those sign-in methods is also governed by Google's and Apple's respective terms.

Accounts are personal. Sharing login credentials across multiple individuals is not permitted for Pilgrim accounts. Agency accounts may designate multiple staff members under a single agency.

Agency Admins who subscribe to ManasikLoc on behalf of their organisation and pilgrims assume additional responsibilities:

• Pilgrim consent – You must inform all pilgrims that their location will be tracked during the trip and obtain their consent before enrolling them on the platform. Location tracking without a person's knowledge or consent is prohibited and may be illegal.
• Accurate data – You are responsible for the accuracy of pilgrim information you enter into ManasikLoc.
• Viewer access – You may grant Family Viewers access to monitor specific pilgrims. You are responsible for ensuring this access is granted only with the pilgrim's knowledge and agreement.
• Compliance with local law – You are responsible for ensuring your use of ManasikLoc complies with all applicable laws in Saudi Arabia and in the country of origin of your pilgrims, including data protection laws.

You agree not to use ManasikLoc to:

• Track any person without their knowledge and explicit consent.
• Harass, stalk, or harm any individual.
• Circumvent or tamper with the authentication or access-control features of the Service.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service by automated means.
• Introduce viruses, malware, or any malicious code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or location data.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialise the Service without our written permission.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

By using the ManasikLoc mobile app, you grant ManasikLoc permission to collect, process, and transmit your GPS location data to our servers solely for the purpose of displaying it to your authorised group leader and any registered Family Viewers.

• Location collection begins only when you join an active trip.
• Background location (when app is minimised) requires explicit "Always" permission, which you may grant or revoke at any time in your device Settings.
• Location data is automatically deleted 90 days after a trip ends.
• You may stop sharing your location at any time by revoking location permissions in your device Settings or by leaving the trip.

ManasikLoc offers both a free tier and paid subscription plans for agencies. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on our pricing page.

• Billing cycle – Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
• Automatic renewal – Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.
• Refunds – We offer a 14-day refund for new annual subscriptions if you have not actively used the Service during that period. Monthly plans are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
• Price changes – We will provide 30 days' notice of any price changes via email.
• Payment processing – Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number.

The ManasikLoc name, logo, web dashboard, and mobile application — including all underlying code, designs, algorithms, and content — are owned by Manasik Technologies and protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.

You retain ownership of any data you upload (pilgrim names, group structures). By uploading this data you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to deliver the Service to you.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee:

• 100% GPS accuracy — location accuracy depends on the device's hardware, atmospheric conditions, and local signal interference.
• Continuous uptime — although we target 99.9% uptime, the Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or circumstances outside our control.
• That alerts will always reach group leaders in real time — network conditions in Makkah and Madinah can be highly congested.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Manasik Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of life, personal injury, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time by emailing support@manasikloc.com. Upon closure, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms or if your account poses a security risk to other users. We will notify you via the email address on your account unless disclosure is prohibited by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Manasik Technologies is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to binding arbitration before a mutually agreed arbitrator, or, if no agreement is reached, to the courts of competent jurisdiction.

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you at least 14 days before material changes take effect by email or by a prominent in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
